Stress-Free Auto Care is a rapidly scaling automotive service company that has grown to 30 locations in six years and plans to expand to 300 locations over the next four years. As a General Manager, you will operate like a business owner, leading the daily operations of a high-volume service location with full accountability for profitability, team performance, operational execution, and customer experience. Key responsibilities include owning the location's financial performance by managing P&L results and making operational decisions that improve revenue, margins, and profitability. You will drive revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, improving team sales execution, and managing pricing, productivity, and cost controls. Leadership of a high-performing team is central to the role—you'll handle hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will optimize operational efficiency using real-time observation and performance data to ensure smooth workflows and consistent execution. Delivering exceptional customer experiences by maintaining service standards, resolving concerns, and implementing improvements that increase retention and loyalty is essential. You'll leverage technology and operational systems to manage performance, monitor key metrics, and make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate has proven operational leadership experience managing a business unit, location, or department with accountability for performance outcomes. Strong financial and business acumen is required—the ability to analyze performance metrics, interpret P&L data, and make decisions that improve profitability. You should have experience leading revenue-driven teams with a track record of improving sales performance, productivity, and margin management. Demonstrated success developing teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management, is essential. Operational instincts and problem-solving ability are critical, as is comfort in fast-paced environments where leaders drive measurable outcomes. Prior automotive experience is not required; the company provides a two-week intensive training program that equips leaders from retail, hospitality, service, and other operational industries with the knowledge needed to succeed.
