Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 / annual
Blank Street is seeking a General Manager to lead a single-store location in Wellesley, Massachusetts. This is a full-time role requiring 45 hours per week with availability for peak days (typically Friday–Sunday).
You will own all aspects of store operations, including team leadership, inventory management, financial performance, and customer experience. Key responsibilities include hiring and developing hospitality team members, creating and managing staff schedules in compliance with labor laws, overseeing training and coffee accreditations, maintaining food and beverage quality standards, managing vendor relationships and inventory, and ensuring operational excellence through company auditing standards.
You'll spend 50–70% of your time working behind the bar, leading by example in customer service and product quality. You're also responsible for driving business growth through creative initiatives, building community relationships to strengthen local brand loyalty, and achieving sales goals while maintaining peak operational throughput.
The role requires strong decision-making, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills. You'll collaborate with the People Team on recruitment, manage timecards and PTO requests, and champion your store's financial performance and team engagement scores.
