Snowflake is seeking an experienced General Ledger Accounting Manager to join its Finance team and help scale global finance and accounting operations. This is a hands-on individual contributor role based in Dublin, CA (with hybrid flexibility—three days in office per week) for an accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. You will own end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close procedures for assigned accounting areas, ensuring high-integrity financial reporting through journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. You'll evaluate and operationalize complex, non-routine, and bespoke transactions, applying sound judgment to develop well-supported accounting conclusions and translate them into scalable processes. Key responsibilities include managing intercompany activities across legal entities in accordance with Snowflake's intercompany agreements; partnering with Strategic Finance, Engineering, Product, GTM, Revenue Accounting, and Technical Accounting teams on new product offerings and financial analysis; and collaborating with Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Statutory Reporting to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will leverage AI-powered financial tools to implement automated workflows for accounting operations and intercompany activities, helping reduce repetitive manual work while improving efficiency, accuracy, and controls. You'll maintain accounting policies, process documentation, and SOX-compliant internal controls, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and audit readiness. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (active CPA license highly preferred); 7+ years of progressive experience in intercompany accounting, cost accounting, and/or public accounting; deep technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX internal control requirements; experience with ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle Fusion); advanced Excel skills; and excellent communication abilities. Experience with AI-driven products for process automation and SQL for data analysis is a plus. You should demonstrate high ownership, attention to detail, initiative, adaptability, and a solution-oriented mindset.
