Join FlixBus's Central Accounting team as a General Ledger Accountant supporting accounting operations across multiple European entities. You will work closely with Group Accounting and local Finance Managers to ensure accurate financial reporting, smooth month-end close processes, and IFRS compliance.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolving outstanding or unusual open items; booking monthly journal entries and supporting monthly and quarterly financial reporting; preparing and posting IFRS adjustments; identifying and driving process improvement opportunities; maintaining clear and accurate accounting documentation; supporting internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports; and contributing to additional accounting and reporting activities as needed.
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 1–4 years of General Ledger Accounting experience. You have hands-on experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and ERP systems, with a good understanding of accounting principles and preferably IFRS exposure. Experience with Oracle Fusion or other ERP systems is valued. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment and are fluent in English.
