CAIS is seeking an Analyst to join the Fund Management team, supporting day-to-day operations across single-investment and fund-of-funds vehicles. The role combines traditional fund operations with emerging technology responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include supporting fund lifecycle events (capital calls, distributions, cash movements, transactions), coordinating with fund managers, administrators, and custodians to ensure timely processing. You'll assist with cash and portfolio reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end close activities, investor reporting, and fund accounting deliverables. The role also involves maintaining accurate fund data, operational trackers, process documentation, and controls.
A significant and differentiating aspect of this position is learning, testing, and applying AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, analyze data, prepare documentation, and reduce manual work. You'll test AI-generated outputs and new technology solutions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate controls—making this an ideal role for someone curious about technology and motivated to modernize fund operations while maintaining strong governance.
You'll support additional fund management, accounting, and strategic projects as needed. CAIS serves over 2,500 wealth management firms supporting 65,000+ financial advisors overseeing approximately $8.5 trillion in end-client assets, providing access to hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes.
