Salary: USD 110,000 - 145,000 / annual

iCapital is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to support the expansion of its Collective Investment Trust (CIT) platform, with a focus on alternative investments. This role is critical to maintaining accuracy, integrity, and operational excellence of fund accounting processes that support innovative retirement investment solutions. Key responsibilities include performing detailed reviews of monthly NAV packages prepared by third-party fund administrators; reconciling cash, positions, and activity between administrators and custodians; validating portfolio valuations against GP and independent valuation advisor data; recalculating management and incentive fees; reviewing and approving fund-level expense payments and accruals; assisting in preparation and review of financial statements for quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual (Form 10-K) SEC filings; acting as key liaison with external auditors for annual audit processes; supporting drafting and review of current reports (Form 8-K); leveraging iCapital technology to create and publish monthly NAV statements and fact cards; overseeing third-party tax providers for timely K-1 delivery; calculating proration factors for oversubscribed quarterly tender offers; assisting in development and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting; contributing to SOC-1 report maintenance; and identifying and implementing process improvements. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or public accounting with focus on alternative investment management clients; strong knowledge of investment company accounting under US GAAP; experience with registered funds ('40 Act and '34 Act) and SEC reporting requirements; ability to manage complex financial data with meticulous accuracy; and demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal partners and external service providers. CIT accounting experience and CPA certification are strongly preferred. The role offers a base salary of $110,000–$145,000, equity for all full-time employees, annual performance bonus, employer-matched retirement plan, subsidized healthcare (100% employer-paid dental and vision), telemedicine, virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Work schedule is in-office Monday–Thursday with remote flexibility on Friday.
