iCapital seeks an Assistant Vice President or Vice President for its Fund Finance team in Singapore to lead operational and financial management of hedge fund, private equity fund-of-funds, and access fund vehicles. This hands-on role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day execution, managing fund accounting, investor reporting (subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, partner capital statements), and vendor relationships with third-party administrators, custodians, and fund managers.
Key responsibilities include designing and enhancing fund servicing processes to improve efficiency and scalability; leading a portfolio of private equity and hedge fund feeder funds; reviewing fund documentation (LPAs, PPMs) and operational questionnaires to identify risks; monitoring NAV statements, cash positions, and KPIs; reviewing and approving capital call and distribution analyses; and maintaining relationships with underlying fund managers and service providers. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with Investor Relations, Product, Client Services, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Sales, and Marketing teams to support fund launches and operational queries.
As a senior member of the Fund Finance team, you will provide guidance, coaching, and review for junior team members, participate in management-level meetings internally and externally, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires 10–15 years of fund management, fund accounting, or operations experience with a focus on alternatives (hedge funds and private equity). You should have advanced Excel skills, proven experience with AI or automation tools for process improvement, strong analytical and communication abilities, and a passion for innovative technology. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field is required.
The role is hybrid: four days in the Singapore office with one day (Friday) remote flexibility.
