Constructor is a Series B AI-first ecommerce search and discovery platform that has generated $10M+ revenue lifts for major brands like Sephora, Petco, and Under Armour. The company uses proprietary GPT-based architecture to power personalized shopping experiences across search, recommendations, and AI Shopping Agents. As a Full Stack Engineer on the Prospect UI Solutions team, you will build and maintain the technical infrastructure that demonstrates Constructor's value to prospective customers. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and sales to create optimized product discovery demos and integrations. Key responsibilities include: writing JavaScript to collect training data for AI models; collaborating with data analysts and account executives to support deal closure; assisting prospects with ETL and front-end integrations; validating data quality; developing and scaling demo infrastructure; addressing technical inquiries from prospects; conducting code reviews; building dashboards and alerts using React, Redux, Node, Clickhouse, and OpenSearch; implementing features for open-source JavaScript UI libraries; and fostering cross-team collaboration. You'll need a minimum of four years of professional software development experience, strong full-stack capabilities (both server-side and client-side), and proven expertise building user interfaces with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular. JavaScript experience is strongly preferred but not required if you have a solid development background and can learn quickly. Automated testing experience (Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library) is essential. TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, Storybook, Python, and web scraping are nice-to-haves. The role requires C1-level English proficiency and availability for regular meetings between 1400-1800 UTC, with working hours ideally between 0900-1200 UTC. You should enjoy customer interaction, thrive on solving new problems daily, and be passionate about search technology and collaborative development.
