You will join the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team, which is building AI-powered data products and workflow solutions that unlock transparency, efficiency, and insight in private market investments. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on distributed services used across the entire ADM engineering stack alongside a talented full-stack team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect, implement, and maintain engineering solutions to solve complex problems; write well-designed, testable code
- Independently deliver high-value projects from design through delivery
- Collaborate with product managers on product requirements iterations, design feasibility, and user feedback
- Learn and promote best engineering practices
- Document software functionality, system design, and project plans
- Mentor junior engineers and provide clear, constructive guidance
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders from other teams to resolve technical issues and coordinate dependencies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Extensive software engineering experience
- Track record of leading technical initiatives from design through delivery
- Comfortable working independently with a bias for action
- Strong ownership mentality and drive to solve important problems
- Excel at written and verbal communication
- Experience with financial services or wealth management operations
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform
- Experience with IaC (infrastructure as code), preferably Terraform
- Experience with generative AI for coding
