Loft Orbital is building the first marketplace for space-based AI applications—a platform where partners publish, deploy, and monetize AI solutions that run on satellites in orbit. The company flies other people's payloads and software on standardized satellites, creating a new category of space infrastructure.
You will be the founding full stack developer of this marketplace platform, working directly with the Director of Marketplace. This is a high-impact individual contributor role on a small, fast-moving team where you own features end-to-end and ship weekly. You will take the platform from MVP to a production system supporting dozens of partner solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full stack development (frontend, backend, infrastructure) of the marketplace platform
- Designing and implementing core features for publishing, deployment, and monetization workflows
- Building APIs and integrations for satellite-based AI applications
- Scaling the platform as partner adoption grows
- Collaborating closely with product, marketplace operations, and satellite engineering teams
- Shipping features rapidly in a startup environment
