The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations with significant autonomy. Key responsibilities include supporting the Finance Manager through the complete accounting cycle, processing and recording all financial transactions accurately and timely, performing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, sending invoices and contracts to customers, following up on late payments, and maintaining the general ledger with proper coding. The role also involves implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures while handling confidential information with discretion.
Required qualifications include 2+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar comprehensive accounting role, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent practical experience), in-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Stripe, advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), experience creating dashboards and board presentations, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management abilities, and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include QBO Certification, Bill.com Certification, and HubSpot CRM experience.
