Modulr is a payments automation platform processing over 200 million transactions and £180 billion in annual payment value. Trusted by 6,000+ businesses from SMEs to enterprises, Modulr automates payroll, supplier payments, spend management, and payment collection through a single platform integrated with accounting and payroll systems. The company is a regulated payments provider with principal memberships of Visa and Mastercard, backed by PayPal, FIS, General Atlantic, and other leading investors, with 400+ employees across London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Mumbai, and Pune. The FP&A Manager is a senior individual contributor role within the FP&A team, responsible for owning significant areas of planning, forecasting, performance management, and decision support. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who can take complex financial problems, structure them into workstreams, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight. Success is measured by taking end-to-end ownership of important FP&A projects, models, and processes, materially reducing the Director of FP&A's involvement in design, build, and day-to-day operation. While the role has no direct reports, it involves providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring across the FP&A team. Key responsibilities include jointly leading significant elements of the annual budget and planning process, owning and improving forecasting methodology and models, building and owning complex financial models across revenue, costs, and headcount, translating business questions into clear financial analysis, acting as a proactive finance partner to leadership, taking end-to-end ownership of FP&A transformation projects, and guiding junior colleagues through complex work. The role requires independent operation, strong financial modeling capability, deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management, and demonstrable experience owning complex financial models and business processes. Desirable qualifications include ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accounting credentials and fintech or payments industry experience.
