Fieldguide is a venture-backed SaaS company automating assurance, audit, and compliance work for cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit practitioners. The company is backed by top-tier investors including Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, Bessemer Venture Partners, Y Combinator, and others. You will join as FP&A Manager, serving as the analytical engine driving planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making. This role begins as a hands-on individual contributor with a clear path to building and leading a team as the function scales. Key responsibilities include: - Owning annual budget cycles, quarterly reforecasts, and rolling operating models covering revenue, headcount, and expenses - Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis and written commentary for the executive team and board - Building and maintaining board and investor reporting materials in partnership with the Head of FP&A and VP of Finance - Tracking and improving SaaS efficiency metrics: CAC and payback, magic number, gross margin, and burn efficiency - Enhancing planning and reporting infrastructure, including systems, data flows, and source-of-truth definitions across ERP, CRM, and planning tools - Partnering with department leaders on headcount planning, spend management, and monthly budget reviews - Building financial models supporting strategic decisions: pricing, product investment cases, fundraising, and inorganic opportunity evaluation You bring 5-8 years of FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or consulting experience with meaningful high-growth SaaS exposure. You have advanced financial modeling skills and expert fluency in Excel or Google Sheets. Knowledge of modern planning tools (Pigment, Runway, Mosaic, Anaplan) and SQL or BI tools is a plus. You command accounting fundamentals, communicate complex analyses clearly to non-finance leaders, and operate with high ownership and comfort in ambiguity.
