Vega is a fast-growing cybersecurity startup building an AI-native platform for security operations centers (SOCs). You will build the financial planning and analysis function from the ground up—no existing model, process, or team to inherit. This is a hands-on role where you'll establish the foundation, run it independently for the first year, then scale by hiring and leading your own FP&A team. The core of this position is business partnering with the go-to-market organization (Sales and Marketing leadership). You'll be embedded with these teams, translating pipeline data into forecasts and financial insights into commercial decisions. This requires someone who thrives in collaborative environments and wants to be in the room where strategy is made—not building models in isolation. Key responsibilities include: **Business Partnering & Go-to-Market:** Serve as the trusted finance partner for Sales and Marketing leadership. Own pipeline coverage analysis, quota planning, and headcount forecasting. Maintain a tight revenue forecast that reflects ground-truth activity. Analyze unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback period, margin by segment) and lead financial thinking on pricing and packaging decisions. **Planning & Modeling:** Build and own the company's operating model covering revenue, headcount, and expenses across all departments. Construct and maintain the financial model used for fundraising and investor diligence. Run annual budgeting cycles, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning with clear visibility into runway. **Reporting & Leadership:** Create board materials with compelling narratives, not just slides. Establish monthly reporting cadences, variance analysis, and departmental budget reviews. After approximately one year, hire and lead your own FP&A team. The company has headquarters in New York and Tel Aviv, and is backed by venture capital. You'll work with a leadership team building the next-generation operating system for security teams at some of the world's largest organizations.
