Re:Build Manufacturing is revitalizing America's manufacturing base by operating an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators across aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy, and robotics verticals. As FP&A Finance Lead, you will report to the VP of FP&A and serve as a senior individual contributor on the corporate FP&A team. You will strengthen and modernize how Re:Build reports on the balance sheet and cash flow statement across its portfolio of manufacturing and engineering businesses. This role combines finance expertise with technical capability. You will work in SQL and Snowflake to design and build balance sheet and cash flow reporting infrastructure, replacing manual spreadsheet processes with scalable, automated solutions. You will own working capital and liquidity reporting across the portfolio, including inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash conversion metrics. Beyond reporting, you will act as the authority on cash for Re:Build, actively driving working capital and liquidity performance across operating sites. Key responsibilities include: composing and automating financial position and liquidity reporting across member companies; developing working capital reporting and delivering insights to operating teams; writing SQL in Snowflake to source, transform, and validate financial data using AI-assisted development tools; partnering with finance and operations leaders across sites to standardize definitions and improve data quality; supporting liquidity analysis and cash flow forecasting; translating complex financial data into clear visualizations for senior leadership; leading accounts receivable reviews and collections follow-up; tracking and improving inventory performance; and driving financial reporting modernization initiatives. You bring 5-10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years in manufacturing finance. You have a strong understanding of financial statements and how operational drivers flow through them. You are hands-on with SQL and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar). You have a demonstrated record of building or significantly enhancing financial reporting processes, transitioning from manual spreadsheets to automated solutions. You work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively across multiple business divisions. Advanced Excel proficiency is required. Preferred qualifications include CPA, CMA, or MBA, and experience in multi-site or multi-business environments.
