Salary: USD 169,000 - 213,000 / annual
Sila Nanotechnologies is a next-generation battery materials company focused on powering the world's transition to clean energy. The company engineers and manufactures breakthrough battery materials that significantly increase energy density while reducing size and weight, enabling smaller, more powerful batteries for consumer devices and electric vehicles.
The FP&A Analyst will serve as a critical financial business partner to the organization, combining strong analytical capabilities with deep financial planning expertise. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding business unit needs and translating complex financial data into actionable strategic insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with business units and stakeholders to understand financial needs and build strong relationships
- Providing financial expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Contributing to financial strategy development aligned with business objectives
- Developing data visualizations and financial reports for senior management
- Driving annual budgeting and ongoing reforecasting processes
- Building and maintaining financial models for strategic planning
- Conducting variance analysis and identifying performance trends
- Managing key financial systems including SAGE X3 and inventory management platforms
- Leading implementation and integration of new financial systems
- Identifying and implementing process improvements for efficiency and automation
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5-10 years of FP&A experience. Required skills include strong financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation abilities. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and SAGE X3 is preferred. CPA or MBA credentials are a plus. The role is based onsite at the Alameda campus.
