Papaya Global, a rapidly growing B2B fintech unicorn with over $400M in funding, is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join its Finance team. The company revolutionizes the payroll and payments industry with technology that manages global workforces across 160+ countries, from hiring and onboarding through employee payments.
In this role, you will be a core member of the finance planning function, supporting multiple business units through financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, developing and maintaining complex financial models that drive business planning and decision-making. Your responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations; analyzing actual vs. budget/forecast performance to identify variances and deliver actionable insights; and partnering with business leaders to align headcount, operating expenses, and strategic initiatives with financial targets.
You will support month-end and quarter-end close processes while continuously improving FP&A processes through automation, data quality enhancements, and AI-driven solutions. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical proficiency across multiple platforms and tools.
Required qualifications include 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical finance experience in high-growth technology, fintech, or global organizations. You must have strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills. Hands-on experience with FP&A platforms (e.g., Abacum), NetSuite, and BI tools (Tableau or equivalent) is mandatory. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential. You should have proven experience applying AI tools in finance workflows, including process automation, data validation, forecasting improvements, and building financial model checks and balances. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is expected.
