Keycard is building identity and access infrastructure for the agent-native era, enabling AI agents to operate with verified identities and short-lived, task-scoped credentials. The company is backed by a16z, Boldstart, and Acrew, with a founding team from Snyk, Auth0, HashiCorp, and Heroku.
As the first Revenue Marketing Lead, you will transform marketing into predictable pipeline for Sales. The company sells top-down to large enterprises and is launching a developer self-serve motion—both require programs that reliably bring the right stakeholders to the table.
You will design and execute programs across events, campaigns, and account-based marketing, working closely with Sales to ensure every initiative drives real conversations. This is a hands-on role where you set strategy and execute tactically: you'll write campaign briefs, select venues, manage follow-up, and work with the Head of Marketing on priorities and budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Pipeline Planning: Partner with Sales and RevOps to set pipeline targets, select supporting programs, and measure effectiveness.
- Event Strategy: Evaluate conferences, side events, and dinners; define success metrics and manage budgets.
- Program Execution: Plan and run events (sponsor deliverables, logistics, swag, staffing, lead follow-up); build demand gen campaigns from targeting through sequencing; create and optimize nurture tracks for enterprise and self-serve prospects; run account-based marketing programs; manage paid media spend tied to pipeline.
- Budget & Resourcing: Own the marketing program budget, manage agency relationships, and plan for next fiscal year.
Your first 90 days will focus on building a repeatable event playbook, launching initial campaigns and nurture tracks, creating a program calendar and budget plan, and recommending investment priorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record building demand gen and event programs at a B2B technical company that generated measurable pipeline for an enterprise sales team.
- Hands-on event planning and execution experience beyond booth staffing, including vendor management, budgets, and follow-up.
- Strong operations foundation: proficiency in HubSpot or similar tools; understanding of scoring, routing, and attribution; ability to partner with RevOps.
- Direct experience managing marketing budgets and paid media (in-house or through agencies).
- Strong partnership skills with AEs and SDRs; success measured by conversations and deals generated.
- Bias toward launching v1s quickly, learning from results, and scaling what works.
- AI-native mindset: comfortable using agents and automation tools to avoid repetitive manual work.
Strong candidates may also have experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or security; supporting both self-serve and sales-led funnels; running executive programs or field marketing for enterprise security buyers; or management experience.
