Gumloop is an AI infrastructure platform that enables companies to build, deploy, and manage AI agents securely within their own cloud environments. As Founding Product Designer, you'll drive design strategy and execution across the entire Gumloop product suite. This is a high-ownership, senior individual contributor role reporting directly to leadership. You'll own the full design lifecycle—from concept exploration and rapid prototyping through final delivery—ensuring every interaction is polished, intuitive, and purpose-built for technical users building AI agents.
Key responsibilities include: rapidly prototyping new concepts and features to validate ideas before engineering investment; identifying and executing on redesign opportunities for key user flows and screens; addressing quality issues and friction points across the product; and evolving Gumloop's design language and visual system as the product matures.
You'll collaborate closely with engineering and brand teams to ship cohesive experiences. The role requires exceptional design taste, deep product thinking, and the ability to distill ambiguous problems into clear, focused solutions. Experience with Figma and emerging AI design tools (Paper, Claude Design, Cursor) is expected. Motion and interaction design skills are a plus, as is prior experience designing for developer tools or technical audiences.
