Praxipal is building AI-powered healthcare professionals to address critical workforce shortages in medical practices. Luna, their AI receptionist, already automates patient communication in dental practices across the DACH region. As the founding designer, you will own all aspects of visual and product design as the company scales into new medical specialties, geographies, and products.
You will shape how Praxipal's brand is perceived and how their product feels to end users. Responsibilities include designing the core product interfaces used daily by medical practices, translating complex AI technology into intuitive workflows for healthcare professionals, building and maintaining a lean design system for consistency across the organization, and creating marketing, event, and social media assets to fuel growth. You'll collaborate closely with product management and engineering to turn ambiguous problems into clear, usable solutions.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of design experience across multiple disciplines (UI/UX and visual branding) in fast-paced environments, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both product and brand work. You should be proficient with modern design tools, user-centered design methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking), and comfortable using analytics to inform design decisions. You bring high self-motivation, a bias toward execution, and the ability to quickly learn new tools and AI-driven workflows. You excel at synthesizing competing requirements into simple, clear solutions. Native-level German (DACH is their primary market) and strong English are required.
The company is small, highly talented, and operates with intensity and speed while maintaining strong collaboration. They work in-office in Berlin to facilitate knowledge-sharing and team growth. Compensation is competitive with equity participation typical of founding-stage roles.
