Sirius Technology is building AI agents that help consumer subscription brands reduce churn, extend customer lifetime value, and accelerate growth. Backed by a16z Speedrun, the company works with brands like Higgsfield and Promova to solve a problem affecting every consumer on the planet.
This is the first design hire at Sirius. You'll be an engineer first—someone who ships production UI themselves and treats design as a specialty within engineering, not a separate discipline. You'll set the visual and interaction language for everything the company builds, then write the TypeScript to make it real.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and build product surfaces end-to-end, from Figma prototype to shipped, production-ready UI in the codebase
- Build and own the design system in code—components, tokens, and frontend architecture that maintains consistency as the company scales
- Work daily in Claude Code and TypeScript to prototype and ship production-ready UI; you're often the one shipping it, not handing off to another engineer
- Partner with founders on product direction, bringing a designer's perspective to strategy early in the process
- Move fast to keep pace with a small team while maintaining high quality standards
You'll work on a product that touches real revenue for real companies, meaning your decisions have measurable impact. The role requires 3+ years of product design experience, Figma fluency (components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping), and working proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks. A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience is required.
The team is based in San Francisco and works in-person, side by side. Proximity helps the team move faster, solve harder problems, and build something they're proud of together. The company offers flexible healthcare, daily lunch and snacks, and genuine time off.
