Alloy River is building agentic applied AI for finance and accounting, fundamentally reimagining how accounting firms operate. The company has raised over $30M from top-tier investors including Portage Ventures, Electric Capital, and angels like Tobi Lütke and Balaji Srinivasan. They are acquiring accounting firms and scaling their operations across Canada and the US. As Founding Demand Generation Lead, you will own online lead generation end-to-end for the firm portfolio. You'll build the funnel from first touch to qualified lead, designing messaging, selecting channels, and running experiments to fill the pipeline. Your responsibilities include identifying and fixing funnel leaks, building repeatable playbooks that adapt across different firms, setting up systems and tooling for tracking, and reporting metrics to leadership and the board. You'll start by proving the playbook with one firm, then extend it across the growing portfolio. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the GTM function as the company scales. You'll report directly to the CEO with significant autonomy and real influence over how the go-to-market strategy develops. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in B2B demand generation with at least 2 years building a demand engine from scratch. You've built large pipelines in messy, open markets and can point to explicit, provable wins showing deal flow before and after your involvement. You're driven by metrics and results, comfortable deploying independently without BDRs, and experienced with AI tools for outreach, research, and pipeline management. You have strong opinions, high agency, and ownership mentality—you identify problems, form views, and act without waiting to be directed.
