Round Treasury is an AI-powered financial OS replacing manual finance workflows at SMEs and mid-market companies. The platform automates treasury, payments, AP, FX, and AI agents across tools and banking rails. Backed by leading early-stage VCs including a16z, Sequoia, Accel, and Atomico scouts, Round is scaling rapidly in the UK with US expansion planned.
As Founder's Associate, you'll work directly with founders Pac and Hayyaan on whatever matters most each week. This is a founding hire role with genuine equity (EMI scheme) and high agency—no fixed job description. One week you might close a major customer; the next, own a hiring project, fix broken processes, build AI workflows, or tackle entirely new problems. The role demands someone equally comfortable with exciting strategic work and unglamorous execution.
You'll take problems from zero to done: get smart quickly, work out the plan, and drive it through without needing management. You'll work across customers, sales, product, marketing, operations, hiring, fundraising, and strategy depending on company needs. You'll build and improve processes, internal tools, and systems. You'll spot problems before they're assigned and act on them.
The ideal candidate has very high agency and raw talent. You don't wait to be told what to do; you see what needs doing and get moving. You're intellectually curious, can get smart on new problems fast, and communicate clearly in writing. You're organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to do unglamorous work. You jump between different problems without losing momentum, care about customers and revenue, and have no ego about execution.
You don't need fintech experience, a specific degree, or growth expertise. Evidence of talent matters: maybe you've built something on the side, started a company, or taken on a university/work project and turned it into something meaningful. The company is looking for demonstrated ambition and agency.
Working directly with founders while Round is still small, you'll see how the whole company operates and get exposure across all functions. You'll earn responsibility early and access to problems most people at your career stage wouldn't encounter. This is a stepping stone to becoming one of the people who builds Round, not a permanent role.
