Causa Prima is seeking a Founders' Associate to work directly with three co-founders in a high-intensity, multi-functional role. This is an execution and strategy position with genuine scope and autonomy.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic & Financial Operations**: Frame strategic decisions before they become projects (business model options, market entry, build-vs-partner calls). Own financial operations across three entities (US, Germany, Spain) including banking relationships with four providers, payroll, invoicing, spend tracking, and month-end close coordination with external accountants in each country.
**Recruiting & Talent**: Source, screen, and coordinate candidates across business roles. Prepare and run structured trial days. Help close top talent.
**AI & Automation**: Build internal AI agents using coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to automate recurring tasks. Move beyond spreadsheets to agent-driven workflows.
**GTM Support**: Target account research, outbound infrastructure, CRM hygiene, event operations (CFO dinners, conference sponsorships, co-organized hackathons with partners).
**Founder Leverage**: Weekly all-hands decks, investor updates, briefing materials, speaker submissions, meeting follow-ups. Ensure founder time goes to highest-value activities. Own legal coordination, vendor management, office logistics—anything without an owner.
**Scope Evolution**: As the company grows, new strategic topics will land on your desk. You'll own them.
The role spans the full spectrum: one hour framing a business-model decision for founders, the next chasing a teammate for a missing receipt. Both require equal energy and ownership.
**Requirements**:
- 3–4 years in a high-intensity environment (top-tier consulting, banking, VC/PE, or early-stage startup)
- Genuinely AI-native: you already use AI agents for real work, have automated workflows, built with coding agents, or use tools most people haven't heard of yet
- Full-spectrum capability: strategic framing and receipt-chasing with equal energy; no task beneath you, no topic above you
- Extreme ownership: see gaps, fill them, don't wait to be told
- Analytical range: build financial models, structure market analysis, write compelling narratives with equal comfort
- Writing quality: investor updates, candidate emails, partnership briefs—clear, direct, done without editing
- Technical curiosity: understand how software gets built, engage credibly with engineers, direct AI agents that build for you
- Fluent English (working language)
**Nice to have**:
- Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or office-of-the-CFO space
- Prior startup experience (founding, early employee, or operator role)
- Exposure to fundraising processes
- Spanish or German language skills
