H Company is an AI research and product company building autonomous agentic systems that drive real-world outcomes across industries. The Forward Deployed Team ensures successful implementation of AI agents to help customers automate and optimize critical tasks.
As a Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with customers to understand their most impactful multi-step tasks and architect production-grade solutions to automate them. You'll seamlessly integrate with customer systems including databases, third-party APIs, and internal tools, then rapidly iterate in the field with tight feedback loops to improve product fit and drive end-to-end delivery.
Key responsibilities include identifying high-impact automation opportunities, building and maintaining scalable production services, integrating LLMs and agentic workflows into real products, and collaborating with product, research, and engineering teams to shape the roadmap based on field learnings.
You should have 3+ years of professional AI and software engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced environments like startups or consulting. Heavy Python fluency is required, with TypeScript familiarity. You'll need hands-on experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Next.js), frontend frameworks (React), and building production systems including APIs, services, infrastructure, and data pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a bias for action are essential. You must be comfortable working in ambiguous, customer-facing environments and willing to travel for on-site deployments.
