The Financial Crime Operations team sits at the heart of Revolut's customer protection efforts, working to prevent financial crime and maintain trust. As a Financial Crime Analyst (Investigations), you will investigate suspicious activity, identify potential money laundering concerns, and ensure fair customer treatment. Key responsibilities include: - Reviewing, investigating, and reporting financial crime cases - Monitoring and resolving formal complaints and Financial Ombudsman Service complaints - Handling consent refusals following Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) submissions - Serving as a point of contact for law enforcement agencies on ongoing criminal investigations - Ensuring compliance with written policies, procedures, and relevant legislation - Collaborating with other teams to provide front-line compliance support and improve processes You will need a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of financial crime investigation experience or 1+ years of SAR reporting experience. Strong analytical skills, fluency in English (C1+ level), and experience in regulated environments (financial institutions, law enforcement) are essential. You should be comfortable with investigative methodologies and analytical tools like spreadsheets, filters, and network analysis. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, which are fully compensated to support 24/7 coverage. Nice-to-have qualifications include multilingual fluency, a law or STEM degree, professional certifications (ICA, ACAMS), knowledge of jurisdiction-specific financial regulations, and experience with crypto or blockchain analysis.
