Crown Affair, a luxury direct-to-consumer haircare brand, is seeking an FP&A Associate Manager to build out and own the financial planning and analysis function. Reporting to the CFO, you will translate financial data into decision-ready insights for leadership across the organization, managing budgeting, forecasting, unit economics analysis, and board/investor reporting.
Key responsibilities include: partnering with the CFO to lead annual long-range planning and budgeting cycles end-to-end; owning budgeting and reforecasting processes with department heads; building and maintaining rolling financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, headcount, channel-level profitability); collaborating with the Controller on monthly budget-vs-actual reporting and variance analysis; developing channel and SKU-level profitability models with Marketing, Retail, DTC, and Supply Chain teams; creating KPI dashboards and reporting packages for executives and the Board; conducting ad hoc financial analysis for strategic decisions (product launches, pricing, partnerships, capital allocation); supporting cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis; improving forecast accuracy and automating processes; and assisting with investor reporting and board deck preparation.
This is a high-visibility role at a fast-growing, founder-led brand with significant opportunity to build the FP&A function from the ground up. You will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you create structure and process from ambiguity, collaborate cross-functionally, and turn numbers into actionable insights for non-finance leaders.
Required qualifications: 3–5 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience; 2+ years owning a budgeting/forecasting process end-to-end at a mid-size or large company; advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills; confident communication and presentation skills for senior executives. Consumer, CPG, beauty, or DTC/retail industry experience strongly preferred. Startup or high-growth company experience is a plus. Experience with BI/planning tools and AI-driven platforms is a plus.
