As a Senior Financial Operations Analyst, you'll be among the first EMEA hires in the Financial Operations team, reporting to the Manager of Financial Operations in the US. You'll work on a 9-6 PM shift based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage FinOps-related customer requests (payment investigations, returns, recalls, reconciliation) using advanced Zendesk skills including Triggers, Tagging, Routing Queues, and Macros to streamline workflows and ensure SLA adherence
- Monitor global end-to-end client transaction lifecycle, detect exceptions from data reports and dashboards, and coordinate with teams to resolve issues
- Support daily safeguarding obligations across multiple Airwallex entities
- Monitor clearing and settlement of client funds and global money pools; drive data-oriented improvements to liquidity management, fund risk management, and treasury efficiency
- Maintain team knowledge base and standard operating procedures; identify operational optimization and process automation opportunities
- Build data-oriented performance metrics and quality assurance frameworks to monitor, detect, and remediate operational risk areas
- Set up compliant, accurate, and timely reporting capabilities based on regulatory and third-party requirements
You'll work closely with Operations, Commercial, and Product teams to identify and resolve FinOps issues. The role requires strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to driving operational excellence across Airwallex's global customer transaction lifecycle.
