Clay is a Series C SaaS company ($5B valuation, $100M+ revenue) providing go-to-market data enrichment and workflow automation. We're seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to join our accounting team and own day-to-day financial operations that keep our statements accurate and business running smoothly.
You will manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice intake, coding, approval routing, and payment processing while maintaining vendor records and ensuring audit readiness. You'll perform daily cash monitoring and bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies, support wire transfers and international payments, and maintain cash forecasting inputs to flag liquidity concerns.
Fixed asset responsibilities include maintaining the asset register, managing additions and disposals, ensuring proper capitalization per US GAAP, and supporting monthly and annual depreciation entries. You'll also serve as a key point of contact for employee expense reports, reimbursements, and corporate travel program administration, collaborating with People Ops on finance-related policies.
Additionally, you'll prepare month-end journal entries and supporting schedules, contribute to financial statement accuracy and timeliness, support internal and external audit requests, and identify process improvement and automation opportunities as Clay implements its ERP transition to Campfire.
You bring 3–5 years of accounting or financial operations experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or startup environments. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with strong working knowledge of AP, cash reconciliation, and fixed asset accounting. You're comfortable in fast-paced environments with evolving systems, have excellent attention to detail, a service-oriented mindset, and experience with modern finance tools.
