Anduril Industries is seeking a Financial Analyst II to serve as the finance partner to the Software Platform (SWP) organization, a critical shared infrastructure team that supports all business lines. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role requiring 2–6 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, business partner finance, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical work.
Key responsibilities include owning SWP's rolling monthly forecasts and annual planning cycles, managing month-end close processes, and serving as the source of truth for divisional financials. You will prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analyses directly to SWP leadership, explaining financial performance at both consolidated and granular levels (by team, spend type, vendor). A major focus is managing cloud and tooling spend—tracking consumption against forecast, reconciling provider data to the general ledger, surfacing unit economics and cost drivers, and partnering with engineering leaders on cost optimization and licensing decisions.
You will build, maintain, and defend SWP's cost allocation methodology to consuming business lines, ensuring transparency and accountability on both the supply and demand sides. Working cross-functionally across SWP and the broader company, you'll translate operational drivers into financial implications before decisions are made. A critical part of the role is establishing, automating, and continuously improving financial processes, models, and reporting infrastructure to scale with Anduril's growth. You will also lead ad-hoc strategic analyses for leadership.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related field; strong financial acumen and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills; comfort working with large, imperfect datasets and reconciling multiple systems; excellent written and oral communication; demonstrated ability to own deliverables end-to-end in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; intellectual curiosity about operational drivers; creative problem-solving; and strong cross-functional instincts. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled information.
Preferred qualifications include experience supporting software, engineering, R&D, or centralized shared-services organizations; familiarity with cloud cost management (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SaaS/vendor spend analysis; experience with ERP and EPM systems (Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM) and BI analytics tools; and DoD or technology industry background.
