Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, AI, and autonomy. The Rocket Motor Systems business line is experiencing rapid growth and seeking a Financial Analyst II to support the financial health, forecasting, and operational execution of hardware programs.
In this role, you will work closely with Program Managers, functional leads, and senior finance team members on hands-on financial analysis and reporting. Key responsibilities include maintaining Estimate at Complete (EAC) models and Estimate to Complete (ETC) models, tracking budget baselines, and ensuring EAC integrity across a portfolio of contracts. You will conduct margin and variance analysis, tracking contract cost and margin performance against baselines while identifying and explaining key labor, material, and schedule variances to program teams.
You will assist in building and updating contract-level and business-line forecasts for revenue, profit, cash flow, and balance sheet accounts. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial dashboards and KPI reporting for program leadership, supporting monthly close processes and reconciliations, and collaborating with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and operational metrics.
This position offers broad, end-to-end exposure across program finance, operational controls, and FP&A in an agile, fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, strong in Excel, curious about operational drivers behind the numbers, and excited to help build reliable financial processes as programs scale. You should have 2-4 years of financial analysis experience, proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, familiarity with defense contracting or government accounting (CAS/FAR) preferred, and strong communication skills to translate complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
