Coder, a Series B AI software development company, is hiring a Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Strategy team. The role focuses on building financial frameworks for a rapidly emerging market—AI coding agents and autonomous development infrastructure—where historical benchmarks don't yet exist. You will own core FP&A workstreams end-to-end: departmental budget-to-actual reporting, monthly close packages, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis. You'll build driver-based financial models for revenue, headcount, and infrastructure costs; perform variance analysis that surfaces actionable insights; support quarterly forecast cycles and annual planning; and contribute to board materials and investor deliverables. The role requires accounting fluency (GL, accruals, close process), financial modeling depth in Excel/Sheets, data fluency across ERP/BI/CRM systems, and clear communication of financial insights. You'll have 1–3 years of FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking experience, with familiarity of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, payback period). Bonus skills include ASC 606 revenue recognition, SQL, workflow automation, and exposure to consumption-based pricing or developer tooling. What makes this compelling: you'll model a market being defined in real time, with scope from day one reporting directly to the CFO and department heads. Coder is AI-native and encourages using AI tools to automate reporting and accelerate modeling. The company offers a realistic growth path to Senior Financial Analyst as planning complexity scales, and you'll build transferable SaaS finance experience at the intersection of remote work, platform engineering, enterprise security, and AI adoption.
