Precision for Medicine is a fully integrated clinical research organization (CRO) specializing in precision medicine, oncology, rare diseases, and complex therapeutic development. The company partners with clients globally to advance biomarker-informed therapeutic and diagnostic programs. The Financial Analyst role supports operational project teams throughout the clinical trial lifecycle, providing financial analysis and reporting. Key responsibilities include: • Support project teams with all financial aspects of running clinical trials, including monthly invoicing preparation and revenue recognition • Perform variance analysis comparing forecasted to actual revenue, identifying scope changes and gaps • Review work orders and change order budgets against actual activities to flag out-of-scope work • Participate in monthly project review meetings as needed • Assist in preparing contract documents (statements of work, change orders) with the Manager and VP of Operational Finance • Collaborate with the Company Accountant on financial reporting, general ledger functions, and monthly/quarterly/year-end closes • Support timely monthly financial reporting • Respond to CFO and VP inquiries regarding financial results, special reports, and ad hoc project analyses • Help develop and implement new procedures and internal controls to enhance workflow The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, plus minimum two years of general ledger and financial reporting experience. Essential competencies include knowledge of the accounting cycle, project budgeting, financial project management, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), and contract review. Strong Excel skills, multi-tasking ability, and excellent communication are critical. CRO industry experience is preferred.
