Lendio is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team. The role focuses on analyzing financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will use Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools to extract insights from complex datasets and present actionable recommendations to management and business partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct financial and operational analyses using Excel, SQL, and information systems to identify key learnings and support business decisions
- Manage complex projects and ad-hoc analyses for critical business partners with strong cross-functional collaboration
- Contribute to financial planning, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial outlooks
- Prepare regular reports for the CFO, executive management, and stakeholders
- Monitor corporate performance against KPIs and help business partners adjust strategy accordingly
- Work with forecasting tools, business intelligence platforms, and accounting systems to extract and analyze relevant data
- Participate in identifying and planning new strategies to improve corporate financial performance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or similar role
- Advanced Excel skills (PowerQuery, PowerPivot, or DAX experience is a bonus)
- Experience with financial/accounting software such as NetSuite, SAP, or Adaptive
- Strong quantitative, data-driven mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to influence business owners and drive decision-making with bottom-line impact
Bonus skills include SQL proficiency, Tableau experience, and background in tech or fintech.
