The company is well-funded, deeply technical, and headquartered in Northern Virginia with offices in London and San Francisco. You will own the operational backbone of the finance function, building and running the systems, workflows, and controls that enable accounting to scale efficiently. This is a hands-on role that bridges technical systems and business operations. Key responsibilities include: - Administer and optimize the ERP stack (NetSuite preferred), including integrations and data integrity - Design, document, and implement accounting workflows, controls, and policies - Drive automation across the accounting function, from month-end close to reporting - Contribute as a key player in month-end and year-end close operations - Build audit-ready infrastructure with reconciliations, documentation, and evidence collection - Partner cross-functionally with finance, engineering, and operations teams to integrate new tools and processes - Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in accounting operations You should have 5+ years in accounting operations, finance systems, or controller-adjacent roles. Hands-on ERP administration experience (ideally NetSuite) is required. You need strong GAAP knowledge and the ability to translate accounting principles into system design. You've built processes and controls in fast-moving environments, think analytically in systems, and work comfortably across technical and non-technical teams. High ownership orientation is essential—you treat accounting infrastructure as yours to continuously improve.
