The Finance team at Revolut provides clarity and confidence across the organization, from daily accounting operations to strategic financial guidance that shapes long-term growth plans. We're seeking a result-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing Japan office and lead financial control functions. In this role, you will own accounting and financial reporting for Revolut Japan, providing commercial and operational management information to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: • Assist with accounting and financial reporting, delivering insights into financial performance, risks, and management • Execute month-end closing and reconciliation processes • Support day-to-day financial operations and provide analysis of Revolut Japan's financial health • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations • Report on regulatory and tax requirements for local entities • Support annual audit processes and regulatory inquiries/inspections • Contribute to building a scalable, efficient accounting and finance function as the business grows You'll need a university degree in finance, economics, or related field, plus 1+ years of experience in finance/controlling functions at a corporate or accounting firm. Strong accounting knowledge (J-GAAP or IFRS/FRS) is essential, along with excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. Fluency in both English and Japanese (business level) is required. Nice-to-have qualifications include professional accounting certifications (CPA, tax accountant), banking or IT finance/accounting experience, month-end closing and statutory accounts preparation experience, and familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting systems.
