Babylist is seeking an E-Commerce Finance Manager to own financial visibility, efficiency, and performance across the Babylist Shop from topline through gross margin. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role on a lean team where you'll set the approach, build models and processes, and work directly with the Director of Strategic Finance to turn analysis into decisions on pricing, promotions, and investment.
You'll partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Data teams. Key responsibilities include owning the monthly financial business review for the e-commerce business, delivering insights on sales, margins, and trends; leading pricing and promotional analysis with ROI evaluation; owning e-commerce forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis; analyzing Co-Op, DDA, and rebate programs; delivering SKU- and department-level reporting; ensuring data integrity of key e-commerce metrics; and building financial reporting and dynamic dashboards that leadership relies on.
You'll also contribute to monthly and quarterly board presentations, the annual planning process, and long-range planning (5-Year Plan). A key differentiator: you'll identify and implement AI-enabled improvements across e-commerce FP&A workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing speed and consistency.
Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of experience in FP&A at high-growth consumer technology or e-commerce companies, with 1–2 years at the Manager level or equivalent ownership in a lean, cross-functional finance environment. You need deep e-commerce finance fluency (AOV, gross-to-net, unit economics, contribution margin), advanced financial modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets, strong independent ownership and problem-solving ability, and executive-ready communication skills. Prior experience owning pricing and promotional decisions, hands-on use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in finance workflows, and familiarity with financial planning systems (NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, Oracle Hyperion) are preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required; MBA a plus.
