Heidi Health is a rapidly scaling healthtech company building AI-powered clinical documentation tools. The company has achieved significant product-market fit with its medical scribe product, now supporting 2.5+ million patient sessions weekly across 190+ countries.
This Finance Manager role is based in London and owns the financial operations and business partnership function for Heidi's UK and Europe region. The role has two equally weighted dimensions:
Financial Control & Compliance: You will own the integrity of the UK&Europe balance sheet, including reconciliations, monthly management accounts, and variance analysis. You'll manage the regional compliance calendar (Companies House, HMRC, VAT) by directing external accountants and advisers. You'll establish early-warning processes for compliance risk and serve as the accountable owner for the compliance chain. You'll be the single point of contact for group finance on all UK&Europe matters.
Commercial Business Partnering: You'll be the day-to-day finance partner to UK and Europe leadership, owning the regional P&L narrative and explaining performance drivers. You'll bring commercial lens to pricing, deal terms, and customer economics. You'll partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve aged balances and reduce DSO by fixing root causes. You'll create self-serve financial visibility so regional leaders don't wait on Australian time zones for answers.
Operational Excellence: You'll build the operating rhythm and KPI framework that transforms UK&Europe finance from reactive support into a reliable performance engine. You'll strengthen financial controls across spend, approvals, vendor onboarding, and commercial commitments while keeping processes pragmatic for a fast-moving region. You'll use FinOps discipline to connect spend, usage, and outcomes across tooling and GTM systems.
You'll report to the Group Financial Controller with a dotted line to FP&A. The role requires strong commercial acumen, experience business partnering with Sales/Customer Success in growth businesses, a track record of improving collections through root-cause fixes, and comfort directing statutory compliance work through external advisers. High autonomy and ownership are essential in this small, remote-first global finance team.
