Dandy is transforming the dental industry by building an operating system for dental practices globally. As Operations Finance Manager, you'll be the financial partner to the manufacturing and lab network leadership, owning the complete financial picture for manufacturing sites and third-party lab operations.
You'll partner closely with Manufacturing Site Leads to ensure they understand their budgets, cost structures, and variances in real time. You'll work with the 3P Labs team to bring financial clarity to routing decisions, building analyses that quantify the cost implications of each choice. Your responsibilities include running the monthly operations close—leading pre-close meetings, aligning with cost accounting, driving variance explanations, and ensuring accuracy of manufacturing COGS.
You'll own the accuracy of manufacturing cost of goods sold by performing detailed expense reviews on fixed overhead, analyzing third-party lab costs, and running margin analyses on precious metals. You'll continuously improve the close process each month, removing manual work and tightening timelines. You'll also support strategic decisions by building analyses for equipment purchases, manufacturing footprint decisions, and insource vs. outsource evaluations, bringing a point of view to the recommendations.
This is a high-ownership role with visibility across Operations and Finance leadership. You'll spend time in the details of overhead absorption, cost per unit, and vendor economics, and you'll be in the room when major decisions are made about equipment, site consolidation, or bringing work in-house.
You bring 6+ years of finance experience including meaningful time in a physical-product business in a high-growth environment. You've demonstrated success partnering with operators, building strong relationships and translating between operational reality and financial impact. You've owned recurring processes like closes or forecasts and improved them. You're proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, comfortable with AI tools for automation, and able to work with large, messy datasets. You communicate complex analysis clearly to executives and have the backbone to push for the right answer with senior stakeholders.
