Namespace Labs is a developer infrastructure platform that accelerates CI/CD pipelines, helping engineering teams ship faster by eliminating build and test bottlenecks. The company works with hundreds of organizations globally and is scaling rapidly.
You will own and build out the finance function as the company scales. This is a hands-on role that bridges day-to-day financial operations with strategic planning. Key responsibilities include:
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cash runway planning, and financial reporting
- Build and maintain financial models providing clear visibility into company performance and future scenarios
- Develop deep understanding of cost structure, unit economics, and profit margins
- Model economics of hardware and infrastructure investments, including purchasing, financing, and leasing options
- Partner with leadership on major financial and investment decisions
- Manage and coordinate external accountants, tax advisors, and finance partners across multiple countries
- Own and continuously improve financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales
You'll work closely with the leadership team on hardware investments, leasing decisions, and strategic planning. The role requires comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment, building financial infrastructure from the ground up, and moving fluidly between detailed financial models, operational details, and strategic decisions.
Ideal candidates have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; background in startups or fast-moving environments; experience with hardware, infrastructure, or lease management; strong grasp of cost structures and unit economics; and proven ability to manage external finance partners. You should be able to translate financial data into clear insights for leadership, stay organized across multiple workstreams, and thrive in ambiguity while creating structure.
