Juniper Square is a $350M+-funded operations platform for private markets, serving 2,300+ GPs with $300B+ under administration. The Finance Engineer role is a hybrid position based in San Francisco (with flexibility to work remotely across the company's global footprint) that redesigns how the CFO organization operates by building systems and automation across all finance processes. You will own the contract-to-cash workflow end-to-end, mapping the full path from Salesforce CPQ through Deal Desk approvals, contract management, NetSuite, Zone Advanced Billing, and collections. You'll identify high-leverage automation opportunities, work with Salesforce and Business Technology teams to tighten data flow, and partner with process owners to redesign and automate deal structuring, approval routing, invoicing, and collections workflows. You'll also build reporting and controls to ensure revenue, billing, and AR data are trustworthy by construction. Beyond order-to-cash, you'll automate the close, payables, and procurement processes. This includes compressing the monthly close through reconciliations, accruals, and revenue recognition support; driving procure-to-pay improvements including the implementation of Zip to replace Bill.com; and designing AI workflows that draft, check, and flag with humans in the loop where risk warrants it. You'll serve as the quality gate on AI output, ensuring models produce correct results before reaching finance stakeholders. You will own the health and configuration of the NetSuite OneWorld environment, including workflows, saved searches, and core order-to-cash functionality. You'll design and maintain the NetSuite role catalog across US, India, Canada, and Luxembourg subsidiaries, manage user provisioning and access reviews, and serve as the go-to expert on the finance systems stack (Zone Advanced Billing, Avalara, Brex, and related tools). This role requires a finance person who ships: someone who understands why the close slips and where order-to-cash breaks, and who has taught themselves to build fixes rather than escalate. The output is running software and changed process—not recommendations, slide decks, or prototypes.
