Performativ, a fintech scale-up backed by top-tier VCs, is seeking a Finance and People Operations Manager to join their Copenhagen headquarters. This is a new full-time role combining finance operations (70%) with building People Operations foundations (30%), working closely with the COO.
Finance Responsibilities: You will manage financial records in e-conomic, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Danish regulations. Key duties include sending invoices from multiple entities, overseeing VAT and payroll filings, reconciling accounts and transactions, and collaborating with leadership on financial insights and forecasting. You'll identify automation opportunities using no-code tools and scripts, ensure smooth integration between proprietary systems and financial workflows, and work with auditors on compliance.
People Operations Responsibilities: You will support the COO in building People Operations foundations with a strong bias toward automation and self-service tools over manual processes. This includes running quarterly goal planning and tracking, owning performance review cycles, setting up recruiting processes and managing contracts, planning company meetings, supporting onboarding/offboarding, administering HR policy and handbook updates, and handling employee lifecycle administration.
Key Requirements: Native or near-native Danish fluency is non-negotiable due to Danish tax, payroll, and legal work requirements. High professional English fluency is essential for internal documentation and cross-border stakeholders. You must have solid experience with Danish VAT and tax rules, e-conomic bookkeeping, and accounting principles. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort working independently are essential. You should be a proactive problem-solver with willingness to learn new tools, comfortable building people operations foundations without traditional HR background, and ideally familiar with agentic software development or Python.
