As Senior Finance Analyst / Controller, you will lead financial planning, analysis, and controls for a growing organization. Key responsibilities include: providing financial and business analysis to support decision-making; owning project finance, budgeting, and profitability tracking; monitoring cost center expenses against forecast; building reports that translate financial data into actionable business insights; and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. You will collaborate on establishing efficient accounting processes, controls, and best practices aligned with industry standards. This includes identifying automation and standardization opportunities, establishing data accuracy controls, managing supplier invoices and payroll expense posting, and participating in ERP system improvements. You will coordinate financial closings and treasury operations, handle intercompany reconciliations, support external audit processes, and guide and mentor junior team members while helping to grow a small team over time. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from Big Four audit/accounting backgrounds. You must have solid grounding in IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC), with hands-on experience in month-end close cycles, financial modeling, P&L ownership, variance analysis, and driver-based forecasting. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, macros) is essential, along with working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred). Experience building automated reports and dashboards (Power BI or equivalent) is required. You should understand internal controls and compliance frameworks (SOX or equivalent) with a track record of tightening controls and standardizing processes. Practical exposure to intercompany reconciliations, accruals, and supplier/payroll invoice control cycles is necessary. Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory; additional languages are a plus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude, adaptable to dynamic, fast-paced environments, and comfortable communicating financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
