Paytm, India's leading mobile payments and financial services distribution company, is seeking a Field Sales Team Lead based in Sonipat, Haryana. This role combines direct sales responsibility with team leadership and market development in rural areas.
You will be responsible for growing distribution and market share in your assigned rural territory while managing a team of Field Sales Executives (FSE). Key responsibilities include recruiting and building your sales team, coaching and mentoring team members to drive business growth, and planning market size, span, and geographies for your FSE. You will devise communication strategies to align the team on plans and targets, minimizing the expectations-versus-delivery gap.
You will directly sell Paytm's financial products—including Merchant Loans, Personal Loans, Gold SIPs, and merchant upgrades—to existing and new merchants. You will monitor quality parameters set by management, validate and audit acquisitions and sales completed by your team, and ensure team members are actively working in the market where sales and usage occur regularly.
Additional expectations include extensive travel throughout your specified area, strong networking capabilities, training and grooming of allocated manpower, and a good understanding of lending products. You will serve as a key point of contact from initial lead outreach through purchase completion, representing Paytm's brand and building lasting customer relationships.
The role offers a collaborative, output-driven environment with opportunities to improve average revenue per user through cross-sell initiatives, receive 360-degree feedback from peer teams, and earn respect through demonstrated support of organizational goals.
