In this Field Sales Team Lead role, you will drive distribution growth and market share expansion in assigned rural areas. You will manage a team of Field Sales Executives (FSE), recruiting, coaching, and mentoring them to align with business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Grow distribution and market share in assigned rural territories
- Recruit and build a high-performing FSE team
- Plan market size, span, and geographies for team coverage
- Devise effective communication strategies to minimize expectations vs. delivery gaps
- Monitor quality parameters and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales
- Ensure regular team presence in market areas where sales and usage occur
- Sell cross-sell financial products (Merchant Loans, Personal Loans, Gold SIP, upgrades) to existing and new merchants
- Train and groom allocated manpower
- Maintain strong networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively throughout assigned area
You will serve as a key point of contact from initial lead outreach through purchase completion, representing the Paytm brand and managing customer relationships. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or above; Post-graduation preferred
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and build sales teams
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills; quick learner who applies new concepts
- Good understanding of lending products
- Excellent communication and planning abilities
- Strong networking capabilities
- Willingness to travel extensively in assigned territory
- Ability to monitor quality parameters and conduct audits
- Experience selling financial products and cross-sell opportunities
