In this Field Sales Team Lead role, you will drive distribution growth and market share expansion in assigned rural areas of Aligarh. You will manage a team of Field Sales Executives (FSE), serving as the key point of contact from initial lead outreach through purchase completion. Your responsibilities include recruiting and building the sales team, coaching and mentoring team members, planning market size and geographies for coverage, and devising effective communication methods to minimize expectations-versus-delivery gaps.
You will monitor quality parameters as directed by management, validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales completed by your team, and ensure team members are actively working in markets where sales and usage occur regularly. You will sell financial products including Merchant Loans, Personal Loans, Gold SIPs, and merchant upgrades to both existing and new merchants. Strong networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively throughout your assigned area are essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Grow distribution and market share in rural assigned areas
- Recruit, train, and groom Field Sales Executives
- Coach and mentor team members on sales techniques and product knowledge
- Plan market size, span, and geographies for team coverage
- Communicate plans and targets effectively to minimize delivery gaps
- Monitor quality parameters and conduct audits on team acquisitions and sales
- Ensure regular market presence and activity by team members
- Cross-sell financial products to existing and new merchants
- Develop understanding of lending products and merchant needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; Post-graduation preferred
- Good understanding of lending products
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and team management
- Quick learner who applies new concepts effectively
- Strong networking capabilities
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout assigned area
- Ability to devise communication strategies and manage expectations
- Experience recruiting and building sales teams
