TheFork, Europe's leading restaurant booking platform and part of the Tripadvisor Group, is seeking a Field Sales Representative to join the UK team based in Leeds. You will manage an assigned sales pipeline covering Leeds, York, and Newcastle upon Tyne, conducting active prospecting through cold calls, walk-in visits, and face-to-face meetings with restaurant owners and managers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage your sales pipeline and conduct proactive prospecting in your assigned territory
- Select target restaurants based on marketing recommendations and plan your daily/weekly schedule
- Present TheFork Manager's features, benefits, and opportunities to restaurant decision-makers
- Build and maintain long-term relationships by understanding each restaurant's unique needs
- Ensure successful onboarding of new restaurant partners and maintain communication with internal teams
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets with weekly performance tracking
- Collaborate with sales operations, supplier support, and account management teams
- Demonstrate resilience and drive to meet productivity targets
- Engage with B2B stakeholders across the restaurant value chain
You will be in the field 2-3 days per week, with monthly travel to London offices (expenses covered). This is a permanent position offering a flexible working environment based in the Leeds area, with competitive fixed salary and bonus structure.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated track record in B2B sales within the hospitality industry, ideally with both online and face-to-face experience
- Experience with territory and pipeline management using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and deal-closing skills
- Results-driven 'hunter' mentality with comfort in cold calling and new client acquisition
- Proactive, self-reliant, and capable of driving initiatives with minimal supervision
- Self-assured, dynamic, flexible, and organized; able to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments
