Ema is building an Agentic AI platform to transform enterprise productivity. Founded by former executives from Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta, the company is backed by Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32, and angels including Sheryl Sandberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in London, Bangalore, and Vancouver, Ema is shipping production-grade AI systems that run real business processes at scale.
You will be Ema's first Field Marketing Manager in the EMEA region, building and running the company's on-the-ground presence across the UK and Europe. You'll own the UK and Europe event calendar—deciding which conferences, tradeshows, and sponsored programs to back in priority markets (UK, France, DACH, Benelux, with Nordics and wider Europe as they grow). You'll execute end-to-end event logistics, from booth design and staffing to cross-border shipping and GDPR-compliant lead capture. You'll be the connective tissue between BDRs, Sales, AI Strategy, Product Marketing, and Design teams, turning live experiences into qualified pipeline.
Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining the regional event calendar within global strategy and budget; recommending which events to back based on target accounts and ROI; planning and executing logistics for conferences, tradeshows, and Ema-hosted events (executive roundtables, dinners, meetups); managing on-site operations including booth design, staffing, catering, and speaker logistics; handling cross-border details like shipping, customs, and local vendor relationships; aligning event programming with BDR and Sales pipeline goals; coordinating with AI Strategists, Product Marketing, and Design for event-ready demos and collateral; tracking and reporting on event performance by market (leads, pipeline influence, cost per lead, deal acceleration); and sharing insights to optimize future investments.
You'll work hybrid from the London office with up to 40% travel across the UK and Europe, plus occasional US trips. You'll collaborate across time zones with US-based teams, including some early-evening calls. You'll be the operator who ensures nothing falls through the cracks—from pre-event outreach and booth activations to post-event follow-up and lead conversion.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or demand-gen experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
- Proven track record running events in the UK and at least one other European market
- Startup experience required; you've built programs, not inherited them
- Working knowledge of the European event circuit (London tech weeks, Paris, DACH industry shows, etc.)
- Exceptional project management skills; ability to juggle 5+ events in different countries and stages simultaneously
- Roll-up-your-sleeves operator mentality; hands-on execution from booth setup to customs clearance
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, BDRs, Product Marketing, and executives
- Experience with HubSpot and marketing automation platforms for attribution and ROI tracking
- Practical grasp of GDPR as it applies to event data
- Proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for day-to-day work
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments; ability to handle shifting priorities and last-minute changes
- High agency and ownership mindset; ability to identify gaps and fill them without being asked
