Float is Canada's intelligent financial operating system, combining modern financial services and software to help businesses spend, save, and grow. Trusted by more than 10,000 Canadian companies, Float provides high-limit corporate cards, automated expense management, next-day bill payments, high-yield accounts, and industry-leading support. The company recently raised $85 million in Series C funding and is backed by world-class investors including Inovia Capital, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, OMERS Ventures, and Silicon Valley Bank.
You will build and own Float's field marketing function, measured on pipeline and revenue generation rather than event metrics. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, you'll develop account-based marketing (ABM) programmes for top target accounts, working closely with BDR and AE teams to create qualified pipeline, accelerate open deals, and open doors into new accounts. You'll also own customer engagement initiatives, including Float Forward, the company's flagship customer conference held twice yearly.
Key responsibilities include: owning field and ABM programmes end-to-end with clear qualification criteria and sales handoffs; building durable, repeatable programmes across customer marketing and acquisition with defined goals and cadence; establishing an always-on customer engagement cadence featuring regular webinars, thought leadership moments, and customer spotlights; being a genuine face for Float in the Canadian finance community through creative strategies that earn real introductions and build lasting rapport; owning Float Forward strategy, budget, logistics, and post-event pipeline follow-through; maintaining a live, rolling roadmap visible to sales, CSMs, and leadership; running tight stakeholder syncs with clear agendas; weighing programmes against the broader marketing opex envelope and factoring CAC into sizing and prioritization; and proactively managing vendors and contractors with real oversight.
Float values an ownership mindset, customer-first thinking, bold innovation, continuous learning, and collaborative teamwork. The company offers a hybrid work model based in Toronto with in-office days for connection and collaboration, catered team lunches on Tuesdays through Thursdays, a dog-friendly office, and a high-trust, high-performance culture.

- Strong operational discipline: keeping roadmaps current, running tight stakeholder meetings, maintaining planning documentation
- Natural relationship-builder who can earn warm introductions and build real standing in a professional community
- Practical, day-to-day use of AI tools to move faster on research, content, and campaign execution
