Blitzy is seeking an experienced Field CTO for Public Sector to serve as the senior technical partner to enterprise and public sector customers. You will interface directly with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and government IT decision-makers to validate architectures, accelerate modernization, and ensure every Blitzy deployment drives measurable velocity in software delivery across commercial and government environments.
You will independently lead enterprise and public sector technical validation from discovery through expansion, owning the technical narrative at every stage. Operating as a consultative, executive-level partner to customer technology leadership, you will translate modernization goals into executable AI-native roadmaps with concrete, measurable outcomes, accounting for compliance and security constraints in government environments.
Key responsibilities include leading enterprise-scale architecture assessments and proofs of concept, applying hands-on experience with AI code-generation models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, open-source), advising on how code-generation systems interact with software supply chains and CI/CD pipelines, and guiding customers through modernization and AI-adoption strategies. For public sector opportunities, you will serve as technical lead, translating agency modernization mandates into AI-native software delivery roadmaps, navigating compliance and security landscapes (FedRAMP, StateRAMP, ATO processes), and building credibility with agency technical evaluators.
You will partner closely with Customer Success, Enterprise Account Executives, and AI Solutions Consultants to align technical strategy with commercial milestones and drive client expansion by uncovering new technical use cases post-implementation.
Required: Demonstrated experience as Field CTO, Chief Architect, VP of Engineering, or senior technical executive in enterprise or customer-facing capacity; deep hands-on experience with AI code-generation models and autonomous development frameworks; proven track record leading enterprise architecture assessments and POC cycles at scale; fluency in enterprise sales methodologies (MEDDPICC); exceptional executive communication skills; experience guiding enterprises through large-scale modernization or AI-adoption initiatives; comfort with fast-moving startup environments.
Desirable: Proven history implementing AI code-generation initiatives at scale; prior public sector or government technical sales experience; familiarity with LLM training, inference optimization, and evaluation metrics; startup experience; public-speaking or thought-leadership presence in AI engineering or enterprise architecture; deep curiosity about System-2 AI and autonomous agents reshaping software development.
